General Conditions of Sale


1. Registration and contact with the User

To proceed with the purchase process, website Users must register. During the registration process, you will be asked to provide some personal information. All contact with Users will be made to the email address they entered during registration. Unless otherwise specified, orders will be shipped to the address they entered during registration. Therefore, Users should do their best to keep their personal information up to date. Website access data will be sent to the email address they used to register on the website. If you do not receive the email with the access data, we recommend checking your spam folder.

2. Prices

Unless expressly stated, prices shown on the website are in Euros and apply to a predefined territory that may correspond to the Country or Region indicated by the User at the time of registration. This price already includes VAT at the legal rate in effect in Portugal on the date of purchase. CARMIM reserves the right to change the price of any product at any time and without prior notice, and cannot assume responsibility for any differences that the User may claim as a result of this change. Unless any error resulting from the entry of prices on the website may be detected, the selling price of a product will be the unit price indicated at the time of purchase registration.
The listed price for each item does not include shipping and packaging costs. These costs will be indicated during the ordering process.

3. Payment

The User can choose to pay by Multibanco.
MULTIBANCO The customer will receive a reference for payment at an ATM via email and/or cell phone.
CANCELLATION ON LOCATION Orders are delivered to Carmim's facilities during business hours, after confirmation by email that the order is ready for delivery.

4. Order confirmation

All orders will be confirmed by CARMIM, with the sending of a second email that reflects any changes to the order, due to the lack of an item, and which will also inform how the User can proceed with payment for the order.

5. Shipping fees, order receipt and delivery time

Shipping costs are calculated automatically and are borne by the User. This amount may change without prior notice due to changes made to the services used by CARMIM, revisions to price lists, or errors in the calculation.
Once you receive your order, check the condition of the packaging. If it's damaged, confirm its contents in the presence of the delivery person. Do not sign the delivery receipt without first checking this.
We only offer delivery to mainland Portugal. This service is external and selected by CARMIM to ensure accuracy and quality. The estimated delivery time to mainland Portugal is 4 to 7 business days.

6. Returns

If you find a defect in the product, you can return it within 15 days of receiving it. The product must be returned in its original packaging and in the same condition in which it was sold, to the following address:

Please send an email justifying your return to info@carmim.eu. Shipping costs are the customer's responsibility.

7. Personal data

7.1. Collection of Personal Data
The personal data collected during the website registration process is strictly necessary for the User to be recognized, contacted, and to provide personalized service. The data will also be used to process orders and to contact the User if necessary.
Your personal data is extremely important, so CARMIM recognizes the importance of protecting it, regardless of its nature. For this reason, we have developed a set of security measures to protect it.

7.2. Use and Security of Personal Data
By registering or purchasing online, users expressly grant CARMIM their consent to use their personal data and address, as well as data relating to their purchases and payment methods. This data will be stored and processed electronically and may be used for communication purposes that reinforce and personalize the offering of products, services, promotional or advertising campaigns, or for order processing. CARMIM guarantees its Users that it will not rent or sell their data to third parties. Therefore, all information is confidential and used only by CARMIM, except in situations arising from legal imperatives.
All information provided during registration will be used to:
– Process, complete data and deliver your order, as well as notify you of its status.
– Ensure that the User Support Service can contact you to provide answers to questions and situations of interest or to communicate new benefits or promotions.

8. General information about the website and copyright

All content on the website is the property of CARMIM and may not, under any circumstances, be reproduced, transferred, distributed or stored without prior written authorization.
The photos presented for each product may not fully represent its reality in terms of colors, shapes or details.
CARMIM assumes no responsibility for the improper use of any product, nor for any consequences that may arise therefrom.

9. Pre-contractual information provided for in Article 4, paragraph 1, paragraph j), of Decree-Law No. 24/2014, of 14 February.

Right to free termination of the contract
Under the terms of article 10 of the aforementioned diploma, “The consumer has the right to terminate the contract without incurring any costs, other than those established in paragraph 3 of article 12 and in article 13 where applicable, and without needing to indicate the reason, within 14 days from: b) The day on which the consumer or a third party, with the exception of the carrier, indicated by the consumer, acquires physical possession of the goods, in the case of purchase and sale contracts; or, i) The day on which the consumer or a third party, with the exception of the carrier, indicated by the consumer, acquires physical possession of the last good, in the case of several goods ordered by the consumer in a single order and delivered separately; ii) The day on which the consumer or a third party, with the exception of the carrier, indicated by the consumer, acquires physical possession of the last lot or element, in the case of the delivery of a good consisting of several lots or elements; first good, in the case of contracts for the periodic delivery of goods for a certain period”.
Obligations of the supplier of goods arising from free resolution:
Article 12, § 3 – “The supplier of the goods is not obliged to reimburse additional delivery costs when the consumer expressly requests a different and more expensive delivery method than the commonly accepted and less expensive method proposed by the supplier of the goods”.
Consumer obligations arising from free resolution:
13 – 2 – The consumer shall bear the cost of returning the goods, except in the following cases: a) When the supplier agrees to bear this cost; or b) When the consumer has not been previously informed by the supplier of the goods that he/she is obliged to pay the costs of return”.
